I built Rallynox because I wanted a simple way to keep a running record of my three daughters’ matches — and a way to actually share what happened with their coach, since coaches are rarely courtside for every match. In the beginning, the stats we tracked were basic: score, result, a few takeaways to pass along.

As my oldest got more serious about tennis, basic wasn’t enough anymore. To really help her improve — and to give her coach more data points to pinpoint exactly what to work on — we needed more detail: which of her errors were unforced, which points she won by forcing her opponent into a mistake, and what patterns kept showing up match after match. That’s what led to this sheet.

The same detailed data is also what real analytics needs. Rallynox is building tools to turn match-by-match stats into trends and training priorities, so coaches can build an efficient practice plan around what actually happened on court — not just a secondhand summary. That’s coming soon.

For now, keep your filled-out sheets after every match. When detailed analytics launch, you’ll be able to enter that data into Rallynox and start seeing what it adds up to. Nothing you track today goes to waste.
